French Tip Mani...

Hello everyone!  Hope everyone is doing great!  Today I have my French tip mani for you!  I think it turned out really cute!  I love the purple color scheme I went with.  I have not done a French tip mani in forever.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sinful Colors Purple Diamond
French tip color-Sinful Colors Let's Talk
Glitter accents-Milani Purple Gleam
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Metallic Purple
Image plate-M33
Top coat-Seche Vite

I think the color scheme was beautiful.  I am embarrassed to say I have had the Purple Diamond polish for quite some time and this is the first time using it.  I mean over 3 years old.  I am trying to use some of my polishes I have not used before.  I would love to do an untried challenge but since I do not have facebook I never know when the challenges are.  I usually just catch the ones on instagram.  If you know of any challenges let me know!

What do you think about French tip manis??  Do you think they are tacky??  I still enjoy them!  Thanks for stopping by!

A tiger named Jinx...

Hey everyone!  I always struggle with names for my posts.  So please do not judge me if they are lame. LOL! Today I have a super cute mani for you!  I found my new favorite tiger striped image.  It is sad to say I tend to use the same old stamp every time I want to use a tiger print image.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI Jinx
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Bundle Monster BM-223
Black studs-Ebay

I love this mani!  I have never said this or thought this before but I think I really found a color that looks amazing on my skin tone!  I have never really thought about how a polish looks on me.  If I like or love the color I wear it regardless of how it looks on my nails.  I do have a confession.  I took these pictures after three whole days of wearing them and hard labor at work!  Can you believe that??  The stamping looked so much better the first day.  It seems a bit faded to me here.  Guess what else...check out those studs!  I never picked them and they also did not fall off!  I was shocked at myself!

So are you still into the textured trend??  Do you think it is phasing out??  Thanks for stopping by!

Heart Nails...

Hello everyone!  Today's prompt in the instagram challenge is heart nails.  I love hearts!  I always enjoy using heart's in my nail art.

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Kleancolor Sheer Grey
Glitter-OPI Servin' Up Sparkle
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Bunny Nails HD-A
Top coat-Seche Vite

I love this delicate mani.  I was thinking stamping with the black would be too much but I love the way it looks!  I am so into glitter sandwiches now.  This is a glitter sandwich and stampwich.  I love it!  When I purchased this polish they had a lot of Kleancolors.  I kept picking this one up and putting it down and I am so glad I got it!  For $1 who could complain.  Now after one or two coats it makes your nails look dirty and dingy but much better after the glitter and stamping.

Have you tried a stampwich or glitter sandwich??  What are your favorite combos??  Thanks for stopping by!

Yellow Stars...

Hey all!  I hope everyone is doing well!  I have a cute little mani for you today!  Quick fact I love the instagram nail ladies I follow!  They all do the most beautiful mani's I have ever seen.  I went crazy and purchased almost all of the Salon Perfect summer neon glitters.  I then realized I had no idea what to do with them!  Well I saw a mani that Marta from Chit Chat Nails posted where she layered two glitters over each other and it gave me the idea to try this with my Salon Perfect glitters.  So let's see what I came up with!

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
Glitters-Salon Perfect Bang and Maybelline Clearly Spotted
Image plate-MJ IV
Stamping polish-Seche Vite
Top coat-Seche Vite

I really love how this mani turned out!  I have several more of these glitters by Salon Perfect so I plan on using them in some upcoming mani's really soon!

Have you ever tried "layering" glitter?  What are your favorite types to layer?  Thanks for stopping by!

Nude nails...

Hello all!  I hope everyone is doing well!  Today I have nude nails for you!  I wanted to do something very dainty!  I haven't worn nude on my nails in a while so I was happy to do this today!  This is also a first for me!  My first glitter sandwich!  I totally understand why everyone loves them!  I did not want to take this off! I loved wearing this and can't wait till this challenge is over to do some more like this!

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sally Hansen Mousseline
Glitter polish-Spoiled Trust Fund Baby
Top coat-Seche Vite

I will definitely be doing more glitter sandwiches!  These are awesome!  I want to matte a glitter sandwich as well.  I purchase many of the Spoiled brand chunky glitters and those are perfect for this technique.  Whoever created this technique is awesome!

So I need to know what your favorite glitter sandwich combos are??  What glitter do you like to use and what sheer polish??  Thanks for stopping by!

Golden Owls...

Hello everyone!  I have a cute little mani for you today!  I have been wanting to use some of these owl designs.  I think they are so cute!  Every where you go they have owls on everything right now.  Earrings, necklaces, shirts, bags.

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-China Glaze IV and Street Chic, Color Club Winter Affair, Orly Halo
Stamping polishes-Sally Hansen Coco a-go-go and China Glaze Passion
Image plates-Pueen 40 and BM-309
Top coat-Seche Vite

I think it is the cutes little mani!  I fell in love with the pink/peach/coral color IV by China Glaze.  It is sort of a jelly polish.  I love the way it looks and I am so mad it took me so long to try it!

What do you think of the whole owl trend??  Thanks for stopping by!

Balloon nails...

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is doing great!  Today the prompt is balloons.  I am not talented enough to do free hand so I am so happy to have a image plate with balloons.  I had a terrible time getting the image to work though.  I had to "edit" the balloon that was supposed to be a heart!  Uggg...Oh well I can't be perfect all the time!

Mani Ingredients
Base color-Sally Hansen Water Color
Stamping polishes-Sally Hansen Rapid Red and Clares White
Image plates-Bunny Nails HD-A and bornprettystore.com (Konad dupe) m79
Top coat-Seche Vite

Since I had nubs I am unable to fit too much on my nails at once so I decided to make a "sky scene" on all my nails.  Which clearly is the reason for the clouds.  Believe it or not I have never used the clouds image.

What is your favorite topcoat??  Is it fast drying??  Thanks for stopping by!

Galaxy nails...

Hello all!  I have never did a galaxy mani!  Too bad I suck at this technique!  I did this twice and both times I was not happy with it.  I thought about not posting this at all and skipping this prompt.  I put my big girl pants on and posted this no matter how bad it looks.  I probably will not do this again because I struggled with this.  This technique goes with water coloring.  That is not my strong point so I will admire everyone else's attempts at this technique.  LOL!

Mani Ingredients
Base color-OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Galaxy accents-Acrylic paints Bella Dynasty, Turquoise and Bright White
Glitter polish-China Glaze Snow Globe
Top coat-Seche Vite

I was so stressed out doing this mani!  I am such a perfectionist.  I never feel like I am doing the technique right.  Uggg...I somewhat dislike the randomness of this mani.  I couldn't decide if I liked the glitter or not.  It made it a bit busy to me.

Do you have any tips for me to help with this technique??  Thanks for stopping by!

Twin Post: Good as Gold...

Hello everyone!!  Today I am so excited to do another twin post with the lovely Jocelyn from Fetching Konad Nails!  I am amazed by the incredible nail art she does.  I have a confession...when I first found her blog I literally went back and looked at every post she ever made!  I know I am a nerd and didn't do it all in one day but I would actually save the website at the post I was on and continue to go back further and further until I finished them all.  I can say I totally did not waste my time!   I loved every post!

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-Sephora Queen of Everything and OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay
Glitter accents-Orly Halo
Stamping polish-China Glaze Passion
Image plates-QA16
Top coat-Seche Vite

I love how this mani came out!  When I purchased this OPI polish I thought it was a brighter blue.  I am pleasantly surprised at how pretty the color is though!  It looks a bit like China Glaze Man Hunt to me as well.  Maybe someone will check and see if it is a dupe.

Please make sure to check out the lovely Jocelyn here.  She always has something special and beautiful over there!

What do you think of this mani??  Thanks for stopping by!

Pastel mani...

Hello all!  I am here today with my pastel mani for the instagram challenge being hosted by @thenailtrail.  On one of the many blogs I follow the blogger used OPI Pink Friday.  I have not used mine in a while so I decided to pull it out for this mani!

Mani Ingredients
Base colors-OPI Pink Friday and Pop Beauty Mint Magic
Glitter accents- L.A. Color Mini Silver Glitter
Heart glitters-Cheeky
Top coat-Seche Vite

I ended up picking this mani.  I am so bad with rhinestones and studs.  The hearts stuck out from the nail.  I am worse than a kid!  I have to pick at the things coming off my nails.  I have been doing better at least I made it through the night and most of church before I started picking them.

Are you a picker??  If you are how do you deal??  Thanks for stopping by!

For my classmate...

Hello everyone!  I have a special mani for you today!  One of my lovely followers on my instagram (jmmama1) is one of my classmates from high school.  She is always admiring the mani's I post on my Instagram page so I told her I would do a mani for her.  She told me her favorite colors are pink, black and white.  Those are also my favorites too!

Glitter accents-Nubar Black Polka Dot
Stamping polishes-Konad m57 and Shany SH205
Image plates-Konad m57 and Shany SH205

I hope she loves this mani.  I definitely loved doing it.  I am a bit obsessed with small images stamped in the lower corner of my nails.  I think it is super cute!  Especially kisses!  My classmate is a bit sassy so I knew she would love the fishnet and kisses.  Do you ever do mani's with others in mind??  Or do a mani inspired by someone??  Thanks for stopping by!

Glitter...

Hey all!  I am back today with my next prompt in the Instagram challenge.  As the title says it is glitter!  I love glitter!  I decided to use an older glitter I have not used in a while.  I also wanted to use a very packed glitter.

Mani Ingredients

Glitter polish-Pure Ice Spit Fire
Stamping polish-Kleancolor Black
Image plate-Konad m36

I think this is so dainty and cute!  I love the simplicity of the butterflies.  This NYC color was an untried of mine and I love how pretty it is!  Unfortunately I took this off as soon as I finished taking pictures.  Since I am back to work I must get ahead in this challenge because I am working out and am so exhausted.  I do not want to miss a post because many of the prompts I am very excited about because I have never did some of the mani's before.

What is your favorite glitter??  Thanks for stopping by!

Tiana Inspired Mani...

Hey everyone!  I am having a great day today!  I hope you are too!  Today I have my last princess inspired mani!  I must say I struggled a bit with this challenge and wanted to quit it several times especially when I realized I haven't seen many of the movies with the princesses in them.  I will make sure to fully pay attention to all the prompts from here on out.  I am glad it is over though and I am glad I pushed through to the end.  Today we have the beautiful Princess Tiana mani!

Claire's has these new amazing splatter effect polishes and I am sooo in love!  I stop in every time I am in the mall to make sure that they do not have any new colors!  I was blown away when I found two more!!  Woot woot!  Flashing Lights is a beautiful one with blue and white glitters both hex and very small bar glitter.  There is also a beautiful shimmer in the polish.  So so pretty!

Have you seen Princess and the Frog??  What is your nail polish obsession??  Thanks for stopping by!
